Update!!! Also, elitism

Hello!

I haven't been keeping this consistant. Just like everything else in my life! Goodness. I start something I do not intend to finish. Sheesh.

So here's some updates from me. New shirt up at Snorg:

Getting some professional jobs here and there through word of mouth. It's a nervous process meeting someone for the first time and hearing what they have to say about your work. It's even more nerve-wracking when more than one person you've never met all have opinions on your work.
Needless to say I've got a bit of work ahead of me - but I'm up for the challenge!

It still tickles me to see strangers wearing my shirt designs. Snorg updates every week with new people wearing Snorg shirts. If you have one of mine, post it! I'd love to see you wearing it :D

Got around to finishing an old illustration. I wanted to make a background, I'm so lazy. I might try again!

I've got a photoshoot this Wednesday with a lovely young model. I hope to have some new interesting glamour shots to add to my pitiful portfolio. You should see those by the end of the week.

That's all for now folks!

  1. I'm sorry, don't you have a consistent significant other (because i can't remember if you are engaged because my brain is like a sieve) that you love and that loves you? Shit, do I sound enough like your mom? ;-) I've kissed your ass about Tink already, but I'll do it again. She is fab! I'm working on my version, but don't hold your breath. Picking out colors is a be-yotch. I dig the new T and I'm glad to see your designs are selling. See how good you are? Now the least you could do is send me a Mother's Day card. ;-)

  2. Haha, yes I do!
We recently celebrated 5 years dating in Disneyland in late August. We got matching pins.
We're not engaged yet... I am just dying to be - but I don't want to be engaged while still in school, waiting a few years for a wedding that will take years to pay off.

While i'm itching to get something tied down in my life, I know that the longer I wait the more brilliant my wedding will be. And what a Disney wedding that will be!

    Ohhhh colours KILL me!
You know what's a good site? Kuler.com - they pick out colour combos for you! Check it out :) I can't wait to see yours!!!

  3. Congrats on 5 years! That's longer than all of my relationships lasted except for my marriage and that lasted 10 years. I'm hoping you will do better than I did. And take as long as you want there is no hurry. (now I really do sound like your mom. well I am old enough to be your parent. ;-) )

The Disney wedding sounds very cool! I would support you dressing up as Tinkerbell, but I don't think your mom would. ;-)

I went to kuler.com and it's a site that sells software tools.

I'm glad you are excited about my Tink (that sounds weird). It's sort of a digital mixed media piece. A little bit. I'm looking forward to finishing it.
